Maria’s beloved jimmy took off with a vrroooom.
“Shit. Shit. SHIT.” Maria’s head was pounding with ideas of what had just happened, what to do next, how to save her baby Nym. Without a car to transport Nym to a hospital, or a clinic even there was only one thing that she could do.

“What…what do you mean, Nym?” A look of terror spreads across Maria’s face. Nym looks deep into her mind to try to remember this woman, but she doesn’t find anything. “What I mean is, I have no idea who you are.” Nym looks confused.
Should she know her?
Maria starts to cry. “WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU DON’T KNOW WHO I AM!” Maria screams. This just confuses Nym more. She looks for anything that could spark up a memory.
Nothin’.
Nym tucks into a fetal position and starts to cry too. Maria goes to the bathroom and cries harder. Nym decides to take a nap and hope when she wakes, everything can come back to her.
“Who is she…who IS she…”
Nym woke up in a daze. She finds herself in a white hospital gown and has an IV hooked up to her. Nym looks around, trying to fix the blurriness in her eyes. A figure is sitting next to her. She tries to scream, but the figure cuts her off with a hand. Nym squints at the figure. Her vision going back to normal. She looks at the figure, and notices tears on her face. “You were in a coma…I never left your side…I helped you out…we got out together!” Maria cried. She embraces Nym in a tight hug.
“That’s great…” Nym edges Maria off of her, “Just one thing…who are you?”
Nym’s eyes were closed by the time Maria had gotten out of her jimmy. The headlights were still brightly lit, and Maria could see what had happened to Nym. Black eyes, bruises, even blood running down the side of her face. Her jeans were ripped, and there was an ugly scar on her knee. Maria assumed it was from her falling. Or maybe from getting pushed to the ground. Whatever happened wasn’t good. And what happened next was even worse.

Nym lay along the road nearly without a pulse. Her penguin backpack was stolen, along with her coat. She shivered harder as every car passed without noticing her. Nym hadn’t enough strength to stand up and ask for a ride. Her eyes began to flutter shut when suddenly another car came along; a blue jimmy. By now, she couldn’t do anything. Nym could hardly breathe nevertheless call for help. These headlights were brighter than any other that passed by. With so much loss of blood, and a banged up head Nym couldn’t think straight. She couldn’t figure out why the headlights were getting brighter…brighter…brighter…

Nym finally arrives at the warehouse that Maria is in. She picks the lock of the doors and rides in on her dinosaur.
“Maria, I am here to save you!” She yells.
But something hard hits Nym on the back of the head.
She looks behind her and vaugely sees the image of a person. Oh no! It’s a person she knows all too well. “Simpulse…” Nym says softly, as she falls to the ground. Simpulse wanted Maria all to herself and had to get rid of Nym.
“Save me, Maria…”
Nym runs out to the garage and gets into the car. She throws the car into reverse and realizes she forgot to open the garage door. The garage door is smashed as Nym backs up faster. She accidentally hits the mailbox on the way. Nym remembers she never learned how to drive, but decides it’s safe. She needs to get Maria back.
And now.
“Nym…please don’t come look for me…I may return. I may not. I don’t know where they’re taking me…but don’t put yourself in danger bb. Please…”
Nym reads these words from the page. Tears fall onto the paper and smear the writing. She came downstairs to a giant mess. Broken glass shattered all around the floor made it obvious something had happened.
They took Maria. And Nym was going to get her back in anyway she could.
“Nym cum to bed nao or i kill you!” Maria said.
“Why, r u gonna b naughty?” Nym asked devishly.
“No, I’m just tired, nao hurry up guh!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Nym sighed and frowned at the ground as she mad her way to da sturs.
